Want to get to know me?

I have a confession. Every morning when I open my mailbox, I secretly (or not so secretly) hope that there's a notification inside. A notification of a new blog comment. I love to read about your thoughts on a projects or a personal post. There has been a lot of talk about negativity online on different blogs lately, and every time I read one of those articles I think of you, my dear friends. I'm so lucky to have the kindest, most supportive and sincere readers. Ever. And I mean that.

Even though I share a lot about my life, and am honest about my thoughts and struggles, there are still a lot of things I don't get to talk about on the blog. Let's just say that my favorite ice cream flavor, or my guilty pleasure TV-series just haven't come on the blog.

So, I thought that it would be fun to do a little Q&A session with you. Is there anything you're curious about? Have a question you'd love for me to answer? Well, leave them in the comments, and I'll make a post with all the juicy details :).

Have a wonderful week-start! (why is week-start not a thing?)

xo. Hanna

  1. I am curious now about ice cream flavour - I reckon some of preferences are locational, ie I like Connoisseur Cookies and Cream ice cream, but thats cause I can buy it from Coles (local supermarket) here in Adelaide. I've tried other cookies and cream flavours and they just aren't as good.

I know you've previously said you did psychology before opera, I may be wrong, but you did get a degree before deciding to become an opera singer - I guess I'm curious about what you liked, what you didn't like etc.

Also, I like to hear more about daily life, ie random supermarket facts etc - the fact you live in a different country so far away from me is interesting. In Australia we don't have kangaroos bouncing down the street, just fyi. And koala's aren't the sweetest animal! If someone asked me about daily life here I wouldn't know what to talk about, so I suppose I'm not very helpful. I've currently been super busy with my final year project in my maths degree but thats not location specific.

Getting to know people is more interesting when there is a dialogue.

Thank you for being awesome :-) I hope you get to see Rein soon - I'm thinking of doing a summer school sort of thing and being away from my fiance for a month and I think thats the scariest part. I think of the pair of you every once and a while and think I hope they are doing well :-)

    1. I agree, Elizabeth, that a dialogue is much more fun, so I've been thinking about having a twitter chat some day. Would that be something you'd be interested in?

Thanks for the kind thoughts our way! Like I said, you guys are the best! :)

    1. Yay! It would be awesome if you'd visit, it's beautiful here. Maybe I should even do a whole separate post on this, cause there are many places.

  5. Ditto on more details/facts about Estonia...loved reading about the local wedding traditions!!! I'm super jealous of your move to Germany and the ability to travel all around. Things I'd love to know about you: do you naturally have amazing skin or do you have tips on how you achieve such flawless skin ;), what is your guilty pleasure junk food (the most processed, chemically enhanced can't-help-myself snack/treat), do you love to read and if so, what is your favorite book/genre, what is the one thing you would love to do if you were more adventurous (crazy ;) ). Just a few thoughts, lol. Hope your move goes smoothly, can't wait to hear of your 'adventures'...good and bad. Hugs!

  6. Hi Hanna.
I am wondering what got you into sewing and refashioning? How did you even learn to sew? What is the best way for me to learn myself?
