Braided Bangs, vol.1

It seems that a lot of you want to get your bangs out of your face, cause you all wanted to know how I braided mine in last Friday's post. So, here's the first tutorial in this series. The next one will be up next week, so you'll have a little time to try this out and practice.

(Sidenote - braiding is a serious business, hence the wrinkles on my forehead and the look on my face in picture 9.)

If you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask. See you in the comments!

    1. I'm sorry that your sick. That's awful! But I guess having some time for yourself is nice. And, remember that braiding takes a lot of practice, don't give up if you don't succeed the first time. It took me several years to perfect my skills.

  3. I was growing out mine last year so attempted this many, many times. My hair is so thick, though, and has this curly/wavy/frizzy texture - so I just stuck to pinning it back. It looks really good on you!

  4. Hey there! I have really thick, knee length hair and I tried this. My braided potion was thin and the strands weren't very thick. Would you suggest I try taking thicker strands at the starting point? Any other tips to perfect it?

    Thanks :)

    1. Hi Jenna! If the problem for you is that the braid is too thin or looks maybe too narrow, then you should take thicker strands and from a bigger area of hair. It's hard to explain properly, but you see in the pictures, that I take my strands up to the center of my head. It really is about trying out different ways and finding what works best for you. I wish I could help more.
